Brunch

Feeling lazy and don't want to cook? It's a beautiful Saturday or Sunday late morning and you don't feel like washing dishes or prepping a meal. Go treat yourself to a fine brunch. Here are my favorite brunch spots in the Lou. I like being in a bright and minimalist environment that serves good food obvi

CAFE OSAGE

So clean & effortless. The lighting is amazing, going there is just refreshing. Fresh cocktails are served with cute flowers & the food is so delicious. What makes the place even cuter is that it is connected to a little market & a garden. The market is full of paper goods, candles, garland, and more sweet little items along with gorgeous plants.

HALF & HALF

A great place to go eat and enjoy a nice hot drink. The hot chocolate is amazing! The breakfast they serve is simple and great. It has a very comforting vibe, which I love.

THE MUD HOUSE

I've been going here for years now. Definitely my favorite place! In the Summer time you can enjoy the patio sitting under all of the green vines. And in the Winter you can sit next the the window watching all of the snow fall. It's the perfect little spot. Fairly inexpensive, just a great experience every time I go. After you eat you can enjoy a stroll through the historic parts of Cherokee Street.
